Choosing the Right Cosmetic Procedures

What To Expect From Coolsculpting Services

When fat cells are subjected to very low temperatures, they will usually die and the body will then eliminate these cells in the following week. For that reason, fat freezing can be a non-invasive way to remove fat from your body. To see the benefits of fat freezing, you should visit a clinic that offers the Coolsculpting Treatment Plan. However, before you do so, it can be helpful to know what to expect.

How to Know If It's Right for You

Fat freezing is not for everyone. It's designed specifically for those who have discreet fat that they need to remove. For example, if you're mostly thin, but have love-handles, fat freezing might be the right treatment for you. However, if you need to lose more weight, there might be better options for you. The fat freezing treatment is not as effective for those who have broader areas of fat because the results will not be as even.

What to Expect

If you are the right candidate for fat freezing, you will be asked to participate in a treatment that can take from 30 minutes to an hour per section, depending on the clinic. You will feel a pulling sensation during the procedure, a stinging sensation and possibly some numbness.

After you have had the treatment performed, you should not expect to receive immediate results. Instead, your body will need to spend a few weeks processing the fat. After your body does that, the fat will be removed from your body. Your body will continue to transform after that for months. In some cases, you might need additional treatments to achieve the results you want.

Side Effects

Fortunately, you won't have any downtime after the procedure because it is non-invasive. You can continue your life as usual immediately after the procedure. You may experience a few minor side effects, but there are far fewer complications than with liposuction. For example, the part of your body that you had treated might experience some firmness. You may experience cramps, bruising, tingling, numbness or redness near the area where the procedure was performed.

You should not expect weight loss from this procedure. If your goal is to lose weight, you are better off visiting a nutritionist or working with a personal trainer. But as you are losing weight, you might find that there are areas of your body that need to be corrected through fat freezing.
